The Victoria Wedding Invitation Suite includes a wedding invitation with envelope and response card with envelope.

The invitation features a Victorian theme, foil stamped silver text and graphics (a monotone colour scheme), and blue coloured pearlescent paper. The invitation is wrapped with an opaque frosted vellum – a crisp paper similar to tracing paper; but frostier, thicker, and more firm and rigid. The vellum is folded around the invitation and meets like double doors at the front, with a slight overlap. The entire assembly is bound with a belly band around the center. The band includes theme inspired graphics and the couples initials in foil print.

Description

Paper:
All cards in the suite are made with pearlescent paper by Stardream. It is possible to change the paper colour. Just ask when you submit your details. You can see a selection of colours from the navigation menu. Select – Learn About/ Paper & Ink

Wedding Invitations:
Invitations are made with 2 ply paper (570 gsm) and are loosely set within a frosted vellum wrap and bound by a theme inspired band. For added flare and distinction, the text on invitations is foil stamped. The stamping process leaves an indentation on the paper similar to letterpress.

Monotone (single colour) themes are always foil stamped. That means all of the graphics and all of the text are both foil stamped.

Multi-coloured themes are typically flat printed, though some also contain foil stamped features; typically seen as reflective metallic surfaces in the gallery images.

Vellum Wrap:
The vellum wrap is a frosted opaque paper that is similar to tracing paper; but frostier, thicker, and more firm and rigid. The vellum is folded around the invitation, meeting at the front like double doors, with a slight overlap. Any text or graphics on the vellum are foil stamped.

Belly Band:
The couples names or initials are foil stamped on the band. Belly bands may include theme inspired designs. Please see the images to verify what the theme offers.

Envelope (Invitation):
The main envelope includes a printed return address on the back flap and, if shown in the photo, theme inspired graphics.  For a superior finish, the inner liner is also printed with graphics that match the suites theme. Because we make the envelopes ourselves, we are able to print directly to the paper before folding and creating the envelope. Print on envelopes is always flat printed.

Response Card:
The response card follows the same theme design with foil stamped text on 1 ply paper (285 gsm).

Envelope (Response Card):
Envelopes for the response cards include a ‘mail to’ address and in some cases, if shown in the photos, theme inspired graphics; both flat printed.

Details/Accommodation, Response, and Website Cards:
All additional detail cards include the same pearlescent Stardream paper (1 ply @ 285 gsm), foil printed text, and theme graphics which are flat printed, foil stamped, or a combination of the two.

Check Email
Once your order has been processed, you will receive email confirmation. The email will include a link to a form where you can provide the details of your wedding. It can sometimes take a few minutes to receive the email – please be patient. If you still haven’t received an email after a few minutes, please contact us.

Complete the Information Form
You can come back to it later, but please be sure to complete the form promptly – we can not design your suite without your details and are not accountable for delays caused by missing or incomplete forms.

Proofs
Once we have your payment and details from the form, we’ll get started. You should have your first proof by email within a few days. Review the proof. If everything is O.K., let us know and we’ll start printing. Otherwise, send corrections for any mistakes found and we will make a revision and send a second proof.

If a second proof was needed, check it carefully and let us know it’s ready for print. If not, send us your revisions and we will revise and send a final Proof for your approval. If you need another revision after that, there will be a £50 redesign fee.

Delivery Times
After we’ve finalised all your details, we make preparations and start printing. Your order will be ready and delivered within 6-8 weeks.
